Topping-Out Ceremony Held for Changsha Hairun Smart Medical Treatment Industrial Park

Recently, the main structure of the Hairun Smart Medical Diagnosis and Treatment Industrial Park in Changsha’s Xiangjiang New Area was topped out. Invested in by Changsha Hairun Biotechnology Co., Ltd. at a cost of 130 million yuan, the project covers an area of nearly 22 mu and has a construction area of 32,800 square meters. It will primarily serve as a research and development center and production base for products in the fields of regenerative medicine, skin wound care, disease detection, and smart medical diagnosis and treatment. Upon full completion, the project is expected to generate an annual output value exceeding 1 billion yuan and create more than 300 jobs, demonstrating the company’s strength and its ambitious plans for industrial development.

According to the National Medical Products Administration’s official website, in April 2022, following approval by the National Medical Products Administration, Hairun Bio was granted the nation’s first Class III production license for silver-ion dressings, becoming the first licensed manufacturer in the country. Currently, the company has rapidly secured contracts and achieved sales nationwide, competing on equal footing with international giants, and its sales of similar products consistently rank among the top in the industry.

To apply negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) technology to the field of wound healing, Hairun Bio has developed a medical device kit featuring a directional electric field NPWT system. Clinical data confirm that, when used in conjunction with silver-ion dressings, this product accelerates granulation tissue growth in infected orthopedic wounds and hard-to-heal diabetic wounds, shortens the healing cycle, alleviates patient pain, improves postoperative scarring, and effectively reduces the length of hospital stays, demonstrating significant clinical value. According to the Hunan Provincial Drug Administration’s announcement on innovative medical devices, in 2022, Hairun Bio’s negative pressure wound therapy device passed the special review for Class II innovative medical devices in Hunan Province. In 2023, it obtained a medical device registration certificate and was successfully launched on the market. This is the first Class II innovative medical device in China to combine a directional electric field with negative pressure technology. The technology encompasses three cutting-edge areas—silver ion sustained-release, chitosan biomaterials, and the synergy of electric fields and negative pressure—establishing a robust technological barrier.
