Product Introduction

This Silver Healing Bio-gel Dressing is a professional antimicrobial wound care device, formulated with hyperbranched polyamide silver ion complex—recognized as an advanced solution for both acute and mild chronic wound management. It is specifically designed for hospital emergency wound irrigation, post-surgical care, and home first aid, including cuts, scrapes, minor burns (1st-2nd degree), abrasions, and post-irrigation wound protection.

The clear, amorphous hydrogel creates an optimal moist healing environment that supports granulation tissue growth while forming a physical barrier against external contaminants. Powered by hyperbranched silver ion sustained-release technology, it steadily releases active silver ions over 72 hours to inhibit a broad range of pathogens (including Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, and Candida albicans) without inducing bacterial resistance.

The gel texture is gentle on new granulation tissue, minimizing pain during dressing changes and reducing secondary wound damage—ideal for both professional hospital use and non-professional home first aid. It requires no complex equipment for application, making it a versatile choice for emergency departments, community hospitals, and household first aid kits.

For global distributors and partners, we provide one-stop customization of packaging materials (including tube, outer box, carton) and a full set of medical device compliant technical documents, fully supporting smooth local product registration and market access in different countries and regions.

How to Use
For Hospital Emergency:

1. Perform routine disinfection on the skin surrounding the wound, rinse thoroughly with sterile normal saline, and dry completely.

2. Squeeze an appropriate amount of gel (1-2mm thickness) to fully cover the wound surface and 0.5cm of the surrounding healthy skin.

3. Optional: Cover with sterile gauze for additional protection (no need for tight wrapping).

4. Change the dressing 3 times daily or as directed by a physician, depending on wound exudate volume.

For Home First Aid:

1. Wash hands thoroughly before and after handling the product.

2. Rinse the wound with clean water or normal saline to remove dirt and debris; pat dry gently.

3. Apply a thin, even layer of gel to cover the entire wound (no need to over-apply).

4. For daily activities, cover with a breathable band-aid if needed; no bandage required for minor, dry wounds.

5. Reapply 3 times daily or after wound gets wet; continue use until the wound is completely healed.

FAQ

Q1: Is this silver ion bio-gel suitable for diabetic foot ulcers?

A1: It is suitable for mild to moderate diabetic foot ulcers with minimal exudate and no severe infection. For severe, infected, or heavily exuding diabetic foot ulcers, please consult a physician before use and follow professional medical guidance.

Q2: Can the gel be used during bathing or swimming for home first aid?

A2: It is recommended to reapply the gel after bathing or swimming. Water contact may reduce the gel's adherence to the wound surface and affect the sustained antibacterial effect. For outdoor activities, you can cover the wound with a waterproof band-aid after applying the gel for additional protection.

Q3: What is the difference between this silver ion gel and traditional antibiotic ointments?

A3: This product adopts non-antibiotic silver ion antibacterial technology, which can effectively inhibit a broad range of pathogens without inducing bacterial resistance, suitable for long-term use. In addition, the hydrogel texture maintains a moist wound healing environment to promote granulation tissue growth, a feature that traditional antibiotic ointments rarely emphasize.

Q4: How to store the bulk purchased products for hospitals and medical institutions?

A4: Store the cartons in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated warehouse (temperature 15-25℃, relative humidity<60%), away from direct sunlight, high temperature, and humidity. Avoid stacking heavy objects on the cartons to prevent packaging damage; follow the "first in, first out" principle for inventory management.

Q5: Is this gel compatible with negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) devices?

A5: Yes, it can be used as a contact layer under NPWT devices for appropriate wound types (e.g., mild to moderate exudate surgical wounds, acute traumatic wounds). For specific application methods and dosage, please refer to the NPWT device manual or consult a professional healthcare provider.

Q6: How long is the valid use period after opening the single-use tube?

A6: For personal single-person use, the gel can be used within 7 days after opening the tube if stored properly. Please tightly cap the tube after each use and store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and high temperature to avoid bacterial contamination and loss of antibacterial efficacy. Discard the remaining gel if it exceeds 7 days or if there is any abnormal change in texture and odor.

Q7: What types of packaging customization can be provided, and what is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

A7: We support full-link customization of tube, inner box and outer carton (material/printing/design). For small and medium distributors, we set a low MOQ (>50 cartons) to reduce cooperation costs; for bulk procurement, we can provide more flexible customization and preferential prices. Contact our dedicated customization consultant for specific MOQ and customization details.

Q8: Can the technical documents be adjusted according to the regulatory requirements of different countries/regions?

A8: Yes. We have a professional document team that can adjust and supplement the technical document content according to the medical device registration regulations of different countries/regions (EU, Middle East, Southeast Asia, Africa, etc.), ensuring that the documents fully meet the local registration standards and supporting distributors to complete product registration smoothly.
